The best painting finish comes down to preparation

Any good painter will tell you that the best finish comes down to preparation.

In order to achieve the best finish when re-painting a roof, it is essential to ensure it is free from any dirt, moss lichen or algae, before it is re-painted.

This requires a two-step process. The first is to apply a biocide and allow sufficient time for the chemical to work which normally takes around 8 weeks. The second step is a pressure wash to remove the dead growth, loose dirt and contaminants.
